Begin 2012 on the right foot by tapping along with Modal Tease:
– This Sunday (**tomorrow**) at the Atwater Village Farmers market,
10a-1p (3250 Glendale Blvd, LA).
– Friday, 1/13, join us at the 2nd Friday old time jam at the Fretted
Frog, 8-10:30p (1200 N Alvarado St, Echo Park). Some of us will be at
the Portland Old Time Gathering, so Jack Phillips and Lawrence Ullman
will hold down the fort on fiddle and banjo. Don’t let the place be
empty in our absence — come be a part of the vibe and create
synchronous old-time jamming in LA and Portland!
– Friday, 1/20, come contra dance while we provide the tunes, 7-11p
(435 Fair Oaks, South Pasadena). Light supper at 7p, dance instruction
at 7:30. Dance begins at 8p. Beginners welcome.
